As part of the multidisciplinary team, assist nurses to undertake duties associated with the care of patients such as bathing and lifting, attend to mortuary duties including care of the deceased, and carry out general assistance in the hospital such as specific cleaning tasks, transport of patients, movement of equipment and maintenance of supplies such as medical gas cylinders.
